Back pain due to a herniated or bulging disc can be debilitating. Today, we have highly-successful approaches that allow us to treat this pain, using a system that provides intermittent flexion distraction, allowing for spinal decompression.
Using the Leander Flexion Distraction approach, we are able to decompress the spine intermittently. The program gently stretches and relaxes the spine in lateral flexion, which, over time, separates the vertebrae, creating a vacuum-like effect that pulls the soft bulging disc material back into the disc. This can help relieve lower back pain, caused by disc pressure put on the nerves.
Do not hesitate to ask Dr. Cherik about spinal decompression, and if it may be right for you.
